Hi, I'm Megan
I am a registered Psychologist with over fifteen years experience in working with children, adolescents and their caregivers, working across both the Government and non-Government sectors.
I utilise a range of therapeutic approaches aimed towards children whilst including parents in their child’s therapy journey. It is my passion to be working with the family unit in order to provide the best possible outcomes for the child.
I have a special interest in working with children and adolescents who have had adverse life experiences/trauma background. I have extensive experience in working with young people with these experiences and am committed to a trauma-informed approach to therapy in order to build trust and safety within the client-therapist relationship.
I also enjoy working with children and young people with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD and ASD as well as grief and loss, behavioural and emotional regulation difficulties, and adjustment difficulties such as life changes and family issues (e.g. divorce and separation). I have also worked with adolescents who are experiencing suicidal ideations and self-harming behaviours.
Alongside my therapy services, I also provide clinical supervision, consultation, and training for caregivers of children receiving therapy.
